How long it takes

A collection with a mint site takes one to a few weeks depending on artwork and guards. Staking, gating and marketplace features add a few weeks more.

Questions

Should my collection use Metaplex Core?

For most new collections, yes. Core stores each NFT in a single account, which makes minting much cheaper, and it supports plugins such as enforced royalties. We use the older Token Metadata standard only when you need something it alone supports.

What are compressed NFTs?

Compressed NFTs store their data in a Merkle tree instead of individual accounts, so minting thousands or millions costs very little. They're ideal for loyalty, tickets, badges and games.

Can you set up an allowlist and mint phases?

Yes. Candy Machine guards handle allowlists, per-wallet limits, start and end times and different prices for each phase.

Can you make the artwork too?

Yes. We can create the artwork and trait layers, or take your artist's layers and generate the collection with the rarity you want.
