1. Who we are
Blue Brick (“we”, “us”) is a Solana development studio. We design and build tokens, dApps, DeFi protocols, NFT systems and brand identities for clients (“you”). By using this site or engaging us for a project, you agree to these terms.
2. Proposals and scope
Every project starts with a written proposal or statement of work that sets out the scope, deliverables, timeline and price. If anything in a proposal conflicts with these terms, the proposal wins for that project.
Anything outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before we start on it. Timelines are estimates and depend on you giving feedback, content and approvals when needed.
3. Payment
- Work begins once the upfront payment set out in your proposal has been received. The rest is due at the milestones in the proposal.
- We accept SOL, USDC and other methods agreed in writing. You cover any network, gas or transfer fees on your side.
- Blockchain payments can’t be reversed. Please double-check the address and amount before sending. We are not responsible for funds sent to a wrong address.
- If a payment is overdue, we may pause work until it’s settled.
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
4. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information and respond to questions and reviews in reasonable time.
- Make sure you own, or have permission to use, anything you send us: logos, text, images, code and data.
- Make sure your project is legal where you and your users are, including any securities, financial, tax or consumer rules that apply to it.
5. Ownership of the work
Once a project is paid in full, you own the deliverables we created specifically for it: the code, designs and written content set out in the proposal.
We keep ownership of our own tools, templates and code we wrote before or outside your project, and give you a permanent licence to use any of it that’s built into your deliverables. Open-source libraries stay under their own licences.
We may show the work in our portfolio once it’s public, unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing.
6. Blockchain and smart contract risk
By working with us you accept the risks that come with building on a blockchain:
- Deployed programs and on-chain transactions may be impossible to change or undo. Test thoroughly before anything goes to mainnet.
- Reviews and audits reduce risk but can’t guarantee code is free of vulnerabilities, including in third-party protocols, oracles, wallets or RPC providers we integrate with.
- Networks can go down, congest or change, and that can affect your project.
- We have no control over, and give no promises about, the market price of any token.
We will never ask for your seed phrase. We don’t hold your funds or private keys. Where a project needs a deployment or upgrade authority, we agree how it’s handled with you in writing and hand control to you at the end.
7. Not financial or legal advice
Tokenomics, supply design and launch plans we prepare are technical and design work. Nothing we provide is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Take independent advice before you launch or sell anything.
8. Projects we won’t take on
We don’t build projects designed to deceive or harm people, including scams, rug pulls, fake volume, phishing, or anything that breaks sanctions or other laws. If we find a project is being used this way, we may stop work immediately and keep payment for work already done.
9. Support after launch
Your proposal sets out any support period after delivery. During it, we fix defects in the work we delivered at no extra cost. New features and changes after launch are quoted separately.
10. Limitation of liability
We work carefully, but to the extent the law allows, our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, lost tokens, lost data or market losses.
11. Confidentiality
We keep the details of your project private and only share them with people who need them to do the work. If you need a signed NDA, ask before you share anything sensitive.
12. Ending a project
Either side can end a project with written notice. You pay for the work done up to that point, and we hand over everything completed so far once that’s settled.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If there’s a dispute, we’ll try to resolve it by talking first.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. A project already underway keeps the terms that applied when it started, unless we both agree otherwise.
